These are 12V 12 SMD 5730 Dual Filament Dual Colour Warm White (to keep that historic look) and Amber Bulbs. They are designed to provide a historic looking Warm White light (3000k) for sidelights then switch to Amber when indicating.

The bulbs are just 47mm long and brighter than the standard filament bulbs. They are an ideal conversion to add indicators to your sidelight fittings without adding ugly add on aftermarket indicator housings that take away from your vehicles original look.

These multidirectional LED bulbs are a simple, quick and direct replacement for your older style standard GLB380 / LLB380 bulbs and have the additional benefit of reducing your power consumption to a much lower level to save your older wiring. These bulbs only draw 400mA.

They will work with vehicles fitted with 12v or dual 6v batteries. Negative Earth or Positive Earth available. This is for a single bulb. Please select the required earth type and number you require from the drop down menu.

The 5730 SMD is a new, small but extremely bright LED.

These bulbs typically last up to 50,000 hours and are vibration resistant so no worries about having to replace them again anytime soon.

If you do not have a suitable electronic flasher relay (and hazard relay where fitted) you will need to add one to ensure that these bulbs flash at the correct rate. Standard Thermal Flashers will not work with LED bulbs.

Excellent

These provide the perfect solution for discrete indicators, in my case fitting easily inside a standard pre war Lucas 1130 sidelight (already wired for indicators, of course). They also weren’t affected by the ignition when the engine was running meaning that I didn’t need the relatively expensive resistor spark plugs that were necessary with the previous LEDs I had. The warm white also looks better on a vintage car. Next stop, the warm white projector headlights.

Turn safe

My old bulbs were white on white so if you had your side lights on you could hardly see the flash of the indicator, with these new LED bulbs the white turns to orange and definitely shows you are intending to turn. Brilliant upgrade

High quality well made product. Bright sidelights could be used as daytime running lamps. Amber flasher looks good. Will definately order further bulbs to upgrade other lamps.

Exceptionally good

Brought 2 of these for my series 1 land rover front side lights to combine them with indicators too. These fitted the L488 lucas lights with double pole contacts. These lights allow me have side lights and indicators all in one fitting. When the side lights are on they are white but when I indicate the white light goes out and they flash orange then back to white when finished indicating. A very clever bright lamp, highly recommended.

Duncan offered prompt and professional advice. I placed order and it arrived next day, superb service and product looks excellent. Will be a while before I fit to car as I’m doing a lengthy restoration but will put on another review when installed.
