Struggling to read your gauges at night?

These multidirectional LED bulbs are a simple, quick and direct replacement for your older style standard GLB987 / LLB987 bulbs and have the additional benefit of reducing your power consumption to a much lower level to save your older wiring.

12V 1.2W 80 Lumen 5 SMD LED 3000k Warm White Bulbs. They will work with vehicles fitted with 12v or dual 6v batteries Negative Earth or Positive Earth.

These bulbs typically last up to 30,000 hours and are vibration resistant so no worries about having to replace them again anytime soon.

Suitable for many other classic cars or applications that have the standard GLB987 / LLB987 / E10 MES Screw fitting. Bulb length 30mm. Shorter Bulbs and BA9s also available if you require bayonet fitting. Please see our other listings.

Dashboard lights

Bought a set of dashboard lights for my 1946 Hillman.
Positive earth, warm white giving a lovely light to the instruments. Very quick delivery, good price, will be buying further bulbs for the rest of the car.

My dials are visible

The instrument bulbs in my ‘72 GT always worked but they were so dim it was actually dangerous. These have made them not only visible but they’ve made the whole dash look even smarter. Remember that you need to leave the Ignition bulb as a standard filament build due to the circuit.

MGB panel lights...

Many thanks for your telephone advice and a speedy delivery of my 1979 MGB panel lamp LEDs. I have fitted the three easy ones (ie, without removing the panel or heater vents), and they work brilliantly (pun intended)! The dimming works perfectly, too, including the now somewhat brighter remaining incandescent lights in the unmodified oil pressure and fuel gauges.

I haven't fitted those remaining two, as my partner was so impressed that they are now in the speedometer and tachometer of her MGB GT! Another happy bunny.

I have ordered another set of five panel lights as per my earlier order of GLB987 E10MES Warm White 3000K 5 SMD LED Bulb Dashboard / Gauge Lighting × 5 Negative Earth, to complete the installation in both vehicles.

Panel rocker-switch backlighting and a blue LED for the main-beam warning light are the next in line for replacement.

Brilliant Service

I emailed for advice and guidance in the morning, received a response by lunchtime, ordered in the afternoon, order acknowledge and despatch confirmed by end of day, received next morning. Excellent service!
The bulbs are great too, really brighten up the dashboard on my MGB.
