Easy to install harness kit to stop Sympathy Flash which occurs when your existing wiring for your single warning light (tell tale) transfers sufficient current to the opposite side of your LED indicators to light both sides at the same time which ever way you are turning and act like hazard lights.

For Motorcycles or Cars with a single signal indicator light on dash. Not suitable for warning lights that are attached to a printed circuit.

A simple test to see whether you need this diode harness fitted, is to remove the indicator warning light bulb on your dash.  If the indicators/signals flash normally then a diode kit should be fitted.  Diodes are small electrical components which allow current to flow in one direction only and stop the current going where it is not wanted.

All connections supplied, no soldering needed.  Full instructions on how to install the kit will be sent to ensure easy installation.

Available for negative and positive earth (ground) vehicles.  These are polarity specific so please ensure you choose the correct polarity for your vehicle from the drop down menu.

Fixed my sympathy flashing problem!

I had fitted LED indicators, front and rear, to my 1997 Caterham Seven and was getting sympathy flashing at the front, i.e. when indicating right the front right indicator flashed strongly and the front left flashed weakly in sympathy. Doug at Just Add Lightness, whose LED replacement hardware I fitted, helpfully put me onto this diode kit, as my 1997 car has a single, shared dashboard tell tale for the indicators. Fitting the diode kit cured the sympathy flashing problem. The diode kit was pretty easy to fit, but I did have to lengthen the earth cable and change the gender of the some of the spade connectors for my particular installation. Very happy with the result as the LED rear light clusters and front indicators are now so much brighter and instantaneous than with the original incandescent bulbs.

Diode harness

I bought one of these to prevent all 4 indicators on my bike flashing at the same time. I didn't fit it in the end, as I found that removing the tiny indicator warning light bulb in my rev counter stopped them all flashing. If you feel the need for a warning light it is probably worth fitting. As it is, I can see that my motorcycle's indicators are flashing without the warning light.
